Nothing like having to take out a loan just to have one of those drinks. Wow.
I was in London last weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. The most we paid for a pint was £3.73 and that was in Knightsbridge. We paid slightly less in Westminister and after that in Leicester Square/Oxford Circus it was around £3 a pint. The cheapest was £2.85 in a student bar near Euston tube. That's pretty much what we pay around here in the trendy bars on a weekend.
We were expecting a lot worse but then we kept to pubs/taverns and didn't go to clubs.
I've not paid less than $5 for a beer here. The most I paid was when I went to watch the Leafs play. $28.50 for two pints.
You've got to be a proper alco to pay that

Last weekend as soon as we got off the tube a guy grabbed us and asked if we wanted to go to a club. He could get us in half price, so £7 instead of £15 and then said the prices were also good. Only £5 or £6 a bottle
